Caffe Cordina

The work focused on elevating the atmosphere of the guest-facing spaces through a more considered furniture and interior presentation strategy. The aim was to preserve the recognisable character of Caffe Cordina while sharpening the sense of arrival, comfort and visual coherence across the setting.

Material warmth, classic detailing and durable hospitality-ready selections were brought together to support a timeless dining experience. Every decision was intended to feel appropriate to Valletta's architectural context while still delivering a fresh, well-resolved environment for daily use.

Our team assisted with the selection and delivery of feature seating pieces that helped anchor the scheme's identity. In particular, we introduced the handcrafted bistro chair, chosen for its ability to bring together traditional craft, visual lightness and long-term practicality within a busy hospitality setting.

The chair's hand-woven backrest, bentwood structure and carefully considered finish gave the interior a refined heritage note without feeling overly formal. We also supported coordination around finishes and suitability, ensuring the final furniture contribution complemented the wider design direction while meeting the durability demands of everyday service.

The work was developed in coordination with the client team, the wider interior direction on site and specialist makers involved in furniture finishing and final fit-out. This collaborative approach helped ensure the proposed pieces sat naturally within the overall concept and contributed to a cohesive guest experience.
