Should I choose ducted extraction or recirculation?
Ducted extraction sends air outdoors; recirculation filters it and returns it to the room. Check which arrangements the model supports and whether compatible filters or kits are required. Ask an installer to assess the available route.
Can I wash the filters in the dishwasher?
Only if the hood manual says the particular filter is dishwasher-safe. Grease filters and odour filters have different maintenance requirements, so check the instructions before cleaning or replacing them.
